When you think about your wedding, one of the concerns you may have when planning such an event is what kind of a cake you will have for it. With a beach wedding, you won’t have to worry that much about the design or motif of your cake since a beach wedding often gives a person a lot of wonderful ideas for cake designs that are appropriate for such a venue. Here are some of the ideas for beach wedding cakes that you may want to consider:

• Shells motif – one of the most used and most loved motifs for wedding cakes that are made for beach weddings is the one that utilizes the many different shapes that can be seen in seashells. There are a number of ideas that can be used for a seashell motif cake and one idea could be a huge candy clam on top of a white or sandy-colored cake with the bride and groom inside the clam or replicas of the wedding bands inside the clam. Another idea would be to use different shaped shells all over the cake in different light colors.
• Floral motif – another idea that can be used for beach wedding cakes would be one that uses fresh flowers on them or more specifically, fresh tropical flowers. You can also choose to have light colored roses and seashells combined in your wedding cake idea.
• Seahorses and Corals – seahorses and corals made out of marzipan and decorating a cake in white and blue or white and beige can easily be your choice for your wedding cake for a beach wedding. You can even add candy pearls all over the cake for an added elegant touch.
