It has been studied by a lot of researchers that a video game surgery can really teach all the budding surgeons out there different things that can also be acquired from an actual surgery. A surgery game is basically conceptualized because trainers felt that simply showing students how a surgery must be done is not enough to make them learn.

However, through this new game for training surgeons, they will be able to get the feeling of using the actual instruments used for surgeries. This is important since a lot of the trainers feel that letting the students acquire all the information they need does not make them great surgeons in the future because they also need to feel the actual feeling one get while in surgery. This new surgery game will make the trainees feel that they are really treating patients complete with instruments in a virtual environment; this environment is also equipped with animations that are very realistic. It is realistic in a sense that patients in the game even bleed if the trainee makes a wrong move while treating them. In addition, researchers think that using this method can also help them in saving a lot of money if they will be able to find an alternative to the current method involving operations of bones from cadavers that are done using actual instruments.

Lastly, trainers also feel that the students will be more interested in this new method since it will be more hi-tech. This is strengthened by the fact that a lot of young people today are used to playing different types of video games. However, even though this game exists it will still be instilled in the students that when they are in an actual surgery, they should not treat it as a video game since the life of an authentic person will be truly at stake.
