How to Create a Word Invoice Template

When it comes to templates involving money, calculations, mathematics, etc. most people use Microsoft Excel. It is easier to use and is more widely accepted. But there are some who would prefer using Microsoft Word, even if it is sometimes more tasking.

A perfect example would be the use of Word invoice template. So how can one create a template using Microsoft Word? First all the details that should be included must be identified in the template. Samples of these details include the seller and the purchaser’s contact information. The company’s name and tax registration should be included. Second, insert a table or a chart where you can input information like the unit price, item description etc. Third, enter the calculations. Use the tables and borders toolbar for this. Once you’re done, don’t forget to save the Word invoice template that you have made. If you have certain modifications, you can always edit or delete items on the template that you have made. Now you are ready to key in significant information, send the filled out template to your client or have it printed.

If in case you are not able to customize one for your needs, then you can always log on to the internet and download invoice templates that are readily available. Choose one that suits your business needs. If you have money to spend, there are more stylized templates that you can take advantage of.
