For tattoo artists and enthusiasts, the human body is treated much like that of a canvass which promotes endless possibilities. There are people who support the idea of having tattoos in the body as their way of expressing themselves. Various designs are available for people to choose from. Some of these are as simple as a single shape such as a heart; while others can be as intricate as a human face.

The location of the tattoos a person wishes to have depends on where they feel would hold a special place. Some of them would like to have tattoos close to their hearts and hidden from the public’s eyes. There are also some who would opt to have these in parts which are most likely to be visible such as those of arm sleeve tattoos. This kind of pattern can cover only the top portion of the arm; while others wish for it to go as far as the wrist – thus making a full-sleeve design effect.

There are different designs or patterns a person can choose from when it comes to arm sleeve tattoos. Some would focus on a particular object or image such as an animal or a human face. There are others who would go abstract and incorporate a number of different designs until it is able to cover the sleeve area in a collage. There are individuals who are content with having one arm tattooed while others would like to have a sense of symmetry and have both arms done. One point of thought in this art is that an individual must carefully consider what they would like to see marked in their body for a long time.
